Eligibility Information How does UAH determine what I am eligible for? UAH uses the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) needs analysis form to determine the amount of college related expenses a student and his or herfamily should be able to pay. Such information as income, assets, family size, marital status, and number of family members in college is used to determine eligibility. Results from the FAFSA are sent to UAH within three weeks. UAH will contact you to tell you what type of aid and how much you are eligible for, or if additional information is necessary. Federally funded student financial aid (Pell, SEOG, Stafford) awarded to a student who withdraws after registration but before the end of the refund period will be repaid to the respective program source. Students will be responsible for repaying any amounts refunded to them, including FlexPlan charges. When withdrawal or reduction of class load occurs after the end of the refund period, full tuition charges will be paid from the aid source. The unused portion of the aid will be repaid to the respective aid source. A prorated calculation may result on the student having to repay funds to the University of federal aid source.
