The following section outlines the information that each section of the scholarship application requires: 

Login page

You may log in using either your student ID number or an email address regardless of your student status. It is not recommended that prospective UAHuntsville students enter their UAH email address exclusively as this email will not be activated until you have registered for class. You may use your personal email address for the scholarship application. Please contact Joy Moody (256.824.6865) or Mary Pat Bohrman (256.824.2755) if you are experiencing difficulty logging in.

Please note that required fields are marked with an asterisk and must be completed for your application to be accepted.  

Activities

Your answers to these questions will help match you to available scholarships.

Financial Information (not a required section)

A link to a handy EFC calculator and an area for additional comments allows you to be considered for scholarships with financial need criteria.

Academic Information

This section requires information regarding high school attended, expected or actual date of graduation, intended program of study, etc. We will use your final high school transcript, official GED, and SAT or ACT reported test score to determine final awards; it is your responsibility to make sure the University receives official final transcripts.

Free Form Essay Questions

These questions allow donors and scholarship committees a preview of who you are and how serious you are about your education and subsequent career. If you have an existing statement that answers any of the essay questions, you may copy and paste from a word document. The career goals essay is a requirement for scholarship consideration.

Recommendations

You must supply the email addresses of two people who will provide recommendations for you. An email containing instructions concerning the recommendations will be sent to these addresses.

Attach Documents

Documents such as resumes, certificates, etc may be uploaded to your application. 

NOTE:  The maximum file size for uploaded documents is 100 MB.  Students may need to reduce the size of images so the uploading process is quicker.

Review and Submit

This is your opportunity to ensure the accuracy of your application.  Remember that fields marked with an asterisk are required, and the application will not be processed if any required fields are left blank.
